About Us
Tiger Uniforms was started by two ladies, Trish Barlow-Jones and Glynis Gray in 2005 and has grown from a small business supporting 2 single moms, into a professional and dynamic operation trusted to manage the uniforms of some of the biggest workforce employers in the country.
From early days, being called everything from the ‘Pink ladies’ to ‘those women in short skirts’, Tiger Guardgear, as they were originally named, created waves in a male dominated industry.
The ‘all girl team’ found that being more attentive to details and more caring than their male counterparts, has been an asset in a male dominated industry.
Over the years, their vision to specialise in security uniforms changed, and in 2023 they changed their name to Tiger Uniforms which better describes the essence of the business and defines the company as a reliable source for all workforce uniforms.
They are very proud of the wonderful staff that have worked with them almost since they started their journey and are very grateful to their factories and suppliers that have helped to make miracles happen and have supported their vision to offer a personal approach, ensuring that Tiger customer’s can also exceed their clients expectations.
Sadly, Trish passed away in 2021, but Tiger Uniforms lives on, maintaining the service levels and personalised approach to each customer that she believed in and fought to bring to the uniform industry.

What makes Tiger different
Together with each client, we assess and forecast their normal monthly requirements, factor in extra stock to allow for unexpected contracts and then maintain the contracted stock levels of the fully branded or custom uniforms.
We also specialise in supplying uniforms to approved customers on a consignment basis to ensure that they are always able to dress their staff within moments. This system works well as we maintain an agreed level of uniforms at your offices around the country, but you only pay for them when they are issued.
The longevity of our relationships is a testament to our professionalism and service excellence and enables us to provide a fast and efficient service especially during times of last-minute urgency, allowing us to meet the challenges of our customer’s unpredictable contracts and staffing challenges.
The Tiger guarantee that quality is never negotiable plus our policy of consistent customer service and reliability sets us apart from the norm. We only work with established suppliers who have earned our trust, and we strive to find new and innovative ways to save our customers money, and to extend the serviceability of the garments.
We understand the unique challenges of the workforce industry and strive to manufacture everything with this in mind. Informed fabric choices are important. We will not manufacture goods using “cheap” parcels of inferior fabrics as quality products will outlast cheaper fabrics, reducing your annual costs. We appreciate that strength and durability are essential for uniforms in everyday use and so all our garments are manufactured with trims to best withstand the rigours of the industry.
A central distribution point allows for daily hands-on management by the owner, Glynis Gray. We check stock quantities regularly to always maintain predetermined levels of our customer’s uniquely branded uniforms and we take it personally if we are unable to meet our customer delivery expectations.
With owner management and trusted suppliers, we are flexible enough to resolve last minute emergencies and can ensure a fast turnaround service on manufacture or branding if neccessary.
Assuring you of our undivided attention…..
